I’m an artist, designer, photographer, daydreamer and caffeine junkie residing in the Chicago suburbs. I am perpetually late. I have a horrid sense of direction but a fantastic memory for useless facts.
I find inspiration everywhere. If you take a love of museums, philosophy, tattoos, bookstores, kids, the inter-web, forests, cooking, eating, legos, interesting conversation, mandalas, animals, astronomy, stained glass, ancient history, fractals, surrealism, good beer, clouds, stars, play-doh, theories, kaleidoscopes, aimless wanderings, general weirdness, the sky, travel, oceans, mountains and comfy pants and put in all in a blender, that’s where my art comes from.
I stumbled across this quote once, and although I can’t find who said it, it pretty much sums up my entire philosphy about life:
“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
